The Stanton Legacy
Interconnected steamy historical romances set in England and America from the 1830s to the 1860s, following two generations of the powerful and wealthy Stanton family.
❤ The four-book series is now complete ❤
The whole series has been a joy to read.
Exhilarating series… Would strongly recommend to everyone.
The main series
Read them in order to follow the Stanton family from one generation to the next.
Book 1
The Viscount’s Scandalous Affair
Orphaned, overlooked, and yearning for love, Charlotte Harding’s quiet life is upended when she crosses paths with the dashing Viscount Stanton. A stolen kiss sparks a forbidden affair that promises no future—only desire. Will society’s rules keep them apart, or will passion win?
I love the way the author wove the story, and the ending was perfection.
Excellent book to curl up with and enjoy. What a way to start a new series. Would strongly recommend.
Book 2
The Vixen’s Unlikely Marriage
To avoid scandal, pretty and spirited Grace enters into a marriage of convenience with Benedict, a shy and inexperienced clergyman who must find ways to woo his worldly bride!
I found myself totally immersed in the plot straight away and it kept me hooked right until the end.
This author keeps you spellbound with her writing, just can’t say enough about this book, the series and her.
Book 3
The Bluestocking’s Secret Obsession
Eccentric English bluestocking, Sarah, shares candidly intimate letters with her friend, Benjamin, a soldier in the American Civil War. But who is her real obsession—Benjamin or the dashing Mr Templeton?
I know I will re read it again soon. MM Wakeford writes an intoxicating tale of falling in love.
Captivating and well written, including delightful characters. I enjoyed the romance and its lovely happy ending.
Book 4
The Viscount’s Forbidden Love
“By God he wanted that man, and Daniel was in the habit of getting what he wanted.”
Not this time.
An MM romance set in Victorian England with plenty of heart, angst and steam—and it does have a happy ending.
A compelling forbidden love story… If you like emotionally gripping MM romance novels with a bittersweet happy ending against all odds, you’re sure to enjoy this book!
A slow burn romance with lots of angst and tension… I feel that Ms Wakeford wrote this story with real sensitivity and with a sense of reality of the time.

Nice and sexy.
Spin-off novella
Miss Stanton Meets Her Match
A steamy age-gap, enemies-to-lovers romance with spin-off characters from The Stanton Legacy series.
A gorgeous steamy little gem… It’s just one of those wonderful tales you pick up and read in one straight sitting.
I really enjoyed this… The well written plot is good with enemies to lovers, class disparity and age gap themes and a touch of ‘Pride and Prejudice’ influence.
